If it has been a while since you’ve been inside the Fabric House showroom at The Houston Design Center, you’re in for a surprise. Connie LeFevre and her team have been hard at work all summer completing a major expansion and renovations of their beautiful showroom.

The physical expansion houses separate rooms for their growing selections of wallcovering, trims and drapery hardware, giving these lines their own space from all the many fabrics.  Fabric House “houses” approximately 40 fabric lines, 20 wallcovering lines, 8 trim lines, 9 hardware lines and 4 contract/ commercial wallcovering lines, most of which also offer quick ship.  The variety and options in Drapery Hardware are growing with cutting edge materials and styles and the new LeFevre Collection line of pre-made drapery AND drapery hardware.

Wallcoverings are exciting and so current with applications of peacock feathers, glass beads, recycled windshield glass, and sea sand.  Fabric House features a lovely display of the hottest trend in the new LED paper that can also be obtained in LED fabric by special order.  These products are of many styles and a wide price range.

Finally, the Fabric House team is thrilled to announce a new employee import from England.  Welcome Jimmy Mathew to the special service team of Nancy Rivas, Penny Laird and Kate Leemann.  In addition to Nancy’s vast experience in fabrics, and Penny’s thirteen years in wallcoverings, Jimmy will be able to add his expertise with window coverings.  He has ten years’ experience in England working on projects also in France and Spain and including everything from palaces to the Beckhams. So, Fabric House will continue to provide an even more service-oriented, one-stop shopping experience for all your fabric, wallcoverings, and window covering needs for both residential and commercial use.

Fabric House is located at The Houston Design Center, 7026 old Katy Road, Showroom 159, Houston, Texas 77024. Tel: 713-803-4949, ext 2. www.fabrichousetx.com
