This hour-long informal talk and presentation by interior decorator David DeLaunay will showcase important elements of the classic French country house, its history, entertainments and spectacular collections of furniture and art. Featured are glimpses of the rooms of some of the leading tastemakers of the genre such as America’s first interior decorator Elsie de Wolfe, Hubert Givenchy, Baroness Marie Helene de Rothschild and others.
Champagne, light desserts and tea will be served.
