Luxury Design Facility Executes Numerous New Leases, Renewals and Expansions In 6 Months!
(June 25) 2012- Houston TX – The Houston Design Center, a 280,690 square-foot complex situated on 15 acres inside Loop 610, is pleased to announce leasing activity and new leases of more than 45,000 square feet of showroom and office space during 2012.
Aria Rugs and Gallery (Suite #253 1,655 square feet) is a new rug studio featuring a comprehensive selection of imported art rugs, beautiful tapestries, and marquetries. In addition to fine rugs, Aria will also carry sculpture, accessories and furnishings.
Café Farandula (Suite #331 600 square feet) is located in the upper tier of The Houston Design Center building, Café Farandula offers visitors and tenants a retreat from the work day. The cafe features choice snacks, lunch items, espresso drinks, and rich coffees. Open weekdays 8AM – 3PM
Durango Doors (Suite #300 2,350 square feet) is a new showroom showcasing the best in custom iron doors. Durango Doors has made a stunning mark on the entryways of finer homes and businesses since 1999. Durango Doors are crafted by highly skilled artisans to be beautiful in both form and function.
Haiku Fans Showroom (Suite #296, 1,157 square feet) – For more than a decade, the Big Ass Fan Company® has been the preeminent designer and manufacturer of high volume/low speed ceiling and vertical fans for industrial spaces. Now residential customers can enjoy the BAF quality product through Haiku™, with its Sensorless Drive Technology™.
KTBU/MegaTV (Suite#254, 6,500 square feet) – KTBU is a Spanish broadcasting television station and video production services company.
Lasco Enterprises (corporate office) (Suite #250, 6,149 square feet) – Founded in 2003 Lasco Enterprises owns and manages three of the largest wine bars in the U.S. (The Tasting Room Wine Cafe) and three wine-centric restaurants (MAX’s Wine Dive). Named one the “Best Companies to work for in Texas” for the two years in a row by Texas Association of Business.
Lucinda Loya Interiors (Suite #162, 1,280 square feet) is an office suite for Lucinda Loya and her staff with an Interior Design Studio featuring unique accessories and furniture created by Loya (including lighting), with interesting often one-of-a-kind pieces procured by Loya.
In addition to new leases, The Houston Design Center renewed existing tenants Crest Energy Partners, You Squared Media, Munson Kennedy Partners and Body Chemistry representing a total in 25,896 square feet of lease space.
