The Houston Design Center To Host LUXE 2nd Tuesday January 12

Designers, architects and members of the design trade are cordially invited to attend 2nd Tuesday on January 12, 2016 at The Houston Design Center. Presented by LUXE Interiors+Design, 2nd Tuesday is an informative day of continuing education programs, product unveilings and a presentation of “What’s New, What’s Now, What’s Next”.

Beginning at 10:30 am a Continuing Education Course for Interior Designers and Architects will be offered. The course “All You Need to Know about LED’s” will analyze the history of LED’s, where the future lies in LED’s and how to properly use, apply and control LED lighting. This course will be taught by lighting gurus, Michael J. Smith, principal of MJS Architecture Lighting Design and Roy Inocencio, with Bell and McCoy Lighting & Controls. The CEU is self-reporting and complimentary to members of the trade. The course will be held in the Postmodern Traditions Showroom 270.

The featured program for January 2nd Tuesday is “ What’s New, What’s Now, What’s Next!. A stellar group of trend setters, designers and architects have been assembled for this very informative panel discussion of trends in interior design in 2016 including Ronda Rice Carman-Witaker, Linda Eyles, Ben Johnston and Shane Cook. The program will be held at Bunch & Shoemaker Showroom 152 beginning at 11:30 am. A light luncheon will follow the presentation.
